The Importance of Having a Daily Social Media Posting Schedule

Having a daily social media posting schedule written down and documented, allows me to relax throughout the day and focus on what is important to me at the present moment. If you are like me, every cool think you see, hear or learn about, you want to post to your social media outlets immediately. It was not until I slowed down and starting laser beam focusing my content to exactly what my social media connections wanted to hear, that I was able to speed up again.

Every time I posted something, it was a knee-jerk reaction, I see something that I like, I immediately post it. I was killing people throughout the day with my posts, not to say my social media connections did not like what I was posting and that it was not super informative to them, they just didn't know what to expect and when to expect it. So, to better help my connections understand when to expect things, I formed a posting schedule. This is my daily posting schedule, yes, it's simple and yes it works.

  • In the morning: I post my quote of the day, this is whatever inspires me or whatever feeling I want to practice in my life on that given day. I post my favorite quote of the day to my primary social media outlets, Google+, Pinterest, Twitter and then to my blog, eioLIFE.
  • Throughout the day: I try and place buckets of similar information together, so the updates are easier for people to read and the topics are similar. Most of the time I do this type of posting between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. East Coast time.
  • Late in the evening: I recap all the best information that I received and posted throughout the day into a "Best of the Day" post. My connections eat this up like an apple-pie at Thanksgiving, it is by far the easiest and most effective way to get all the information.

Hopefully you see some type of trend here and this article will allow you to form some type of posting schedule and strategy that works for you. If you have a strategy that works, let me know, I am all ears.

As always, if you have any information that can provide assistance to our active eioLIFE entrepeneur community, please leave a comment below and we will be sure to include it in our next update.
