Stop Beating Around the Bush and Start Asking for What You Want

Do you ever write an article or blog post and hope that the people reading it will somehow get the idea that you are trying to express? Ever feel like maybe you are just not being direct enough in the idea or thought that you are looking to get across to your readers?

It's time to stop beating around the bush and get right down to what you want to express or say in the article or blog post. Leave the fluff at home, people don't have time and don't want to spend time reading paragraph after paragraph, only to grab one small fact at the end of the article. If you have something to express or say in an article or blog post, just express or say it, then explain how it helps you and what difference this information has made in your life. What I am saying is, get down to the point and get to it quickly.

The major social media platforms all provide great area's to post short content, my personal favorite is Google+ because G+ users actively participate in conversations and are generally not interested in just posting links or junk. Find your niche social media platform that works for you, then dedicate yourself to it, post things that are interesting to the group of people you are talking to and make it happen on a daily basis from that point forward.

One extremely successful person posting short articles, content and blog posts is +Guy Kawasaki. Guy is the master of making things happen online and I highly recommend you sign up for his EvanG+ Email updates, the sign up form is here. The articles are always from top social media mavericks and they are all short and direct.

As always, if you have any information that can provide assistance to our active eioLIFE entrepeneur community, please leave a comment below and we will be sure to include it in our next update.

PS If you use Google's Blogger platform, you can actually +1 someone, +Brandon Schaefer, directly from your blog post. This is a new update from Blogger and it will really help get your Google SEO ranking raised. You can also put your Google+ post link in you blog post, like you see here, Google+, to get the double SEO Google ranking bonus.
